Hormones & Mood in Mid-Life

Perimenopause and menopause can influence serotonin, sleep, and stress systems—changing how you feel day to day. You’re not imagining it, and you’re not alone.

  • Assessment: history & symptom mapping, screening tools, medication review, and labs when indicated.
  • Care Options: cognitive & behavioral strategies, SSRIs/SNRIs or other medications when appropriate, MHT for eligible patients, and sleep/nutrition/movement skills.
  • Shared Decisions: we discuss risks, benefits, and preferences—your plan fits your goals.
